Blues as it should be.
Papa ❤
Praise God...
Can't comment on this to the late scholar Norm now...but I think Sara is in fact saying "Laramie," not "Lamar." She uses the "ah" sound for her "a." She changes the ending a bit, so that it comes out "Lah-rah-may."
gosto muito de ouvir louvores antigos, são tão simples mas com letras tão profundas para refletirmos sobre nossa vida com Deus! esse é um dos que adiciono a minha lista.🇧🇷😍🤍
FURIOUS!
Hand me down my bottle of corn, Hand me down my bottle of corn. Hand me down my bottle of corn, I’ll get drunk as sure as you’re born, All my sins are taken away, taken away I got drunk and got in jail, I got drunk and got in jail. I got drunk and got in jail, (Wing by here come go my bail) ? All my sins are taken away, taken away Yonder comes a man across the field Yonder comes a man across the field, Yonder comes a man across the field kickin' up dust like an automobile All my sins are taken away, taken away Hand me down my walking cane, Hand me down my walking cane. Hand me down my walking cane, I’m gonna leave on the midnight train, All my sins are taken away, taken away. I got drunk and got in jail, I got drunk and got in jail. I got drunk and got in jail, (Wing by here come go my bail) ? All my sins are taken away, taken away If I die in Tennessee If I die in Tennessee If I die in Tennessee Ship me back your C.O.D. All my sins are taken away, taken away
I’ve always tried to decipher the lyrics to this song
Played music there many times myself. What an honor to play the same town as ABB. Rock on
Are you on Spotify ?
👍
Can't believe I missed this one but I was working to support my own 2 sons. Finally saw them at the Charlotte Coliseum (my kids (young teens) were somewhere in the audience but I was right up at the stage below Gregg's keyboard in ecstasy).
NC's Woodstock for sure! Those hills still echo the sounds of the brothers. Many came, some stayed, still a place like no other. Sure would be cool to see a Allman-Betts show here!
Love the music 💙💙🎤🎸🎹🎶🎼🎵🌟⭐️💫
My stove has just one knob
Whoa
Slack Tide - ✌🏻😎
If this isn't the definition of pure joy, I would like to know what is? Just stunning!!! RIP Dickey
What the young people don't know about this man. It's a shame.
My stove doesn’t allow just any match in its oven that’s why I’m a virgin single lady and proud of this never dated never will probably
k
The fact that this footage got over a quarter million veiws speak volumes....
Anything that Duane is on back in the day is a very rare thing no matter how the footage is. Thank you for posting this classic.
Duane was ripping through these notes like he going insane on his extraordinary guitar, what a time in history....
Never heard this recording before, but I immediately recognized (without checking the info box) the cornet player as the young Louis Armstrong !
I bet she would often get a bun in the oven.
In very loving memory of Mr. Clifford Sheats (1908 - 1997 R.I.P. Gone but NOT forgotten).
Jimmy didnt wanna goto europe cause he had to harvest his watermelon patch 😅
♨🛕♨🛕♨🛕♨🛕♨🛕👹👿😈👺💋💋💋💋
Bad Baad Boys.
Bout to light that stove and put a bun in her oven
Thank you for posting this rare song!
Had to be a coolie 9n an 8ndian

It must be Easy Bake. And once again Live at Harpos... Shug Avery 😂
Love single-entandre old blues. Hot !
Called " hokum" or "dirty blues".
@@kevinjohnson9533 call them whatever - I don't give a shit.
@@TheAdventurer1 It's nothing to be defensive about , it's just what it's called. My education about it was reading one article. lol
Son House's version is equally plaintive, and nearly all instrumental. Both are deeply heart-to-heart.
He was the original host of the Grand Ole Opry, up until about 1939.
Fin great show and what a jam of the 3 king songs
Duane was a telepathic kind of player he touched planets others would never touch in a lifetime respectfully, to all the great guitarists around the world. This guy would have reached Galaxy's if he'd lived longer then he did!!!!!RIP 2 Duane Allman and the rest of the brothers who have passed over!!!!! RIP fellas ✌️👍☝️🫵
This song like the appalachians just get into your bones. Older than time itself.
Old number 9 on the country line.
So good
Duane could bring things to a whole other level. He can transport me. I often come to this video to get my soul smiling and dancing. The best of them all, the Allman Brothers!
My papa used to sing this.😢miss him so much.
That's probably one of the recording engineers telling them to stop playing at the 2:46 mark
Didn't mean to dislike if it went through
I have been a die hard fan since I first heard Fillmore East at the age of 12 in 1971... There is no comparison, BEST live band EVER, done deal, 'nuff said. There will never be another like the Brothers....
Just saw Gov’t Mule play Mountain Jam last week in Philly. Warren and the guys are still keeping the flame alive but great to stumble upon some live video of the one and only Allman Brothers
Isn't that the dude from Miami Vice? I wondered what he been up to!! Haahaa!! I'm joking
Delaney & Bonnie inspire me to be informal and spontaneous. My videos on you tube are recorded the same way that Delaney and Bonnie & Friends are performing here. No wonder Clapton and George Harrison loved and enjoyed the music of the Bramlett's because of their Gospel heritage. My motto has always been, "it doesn't have to be a "hit" to be good, in fact the songs are most often better is they're not on the mundane hit parade.
This is the Anthem of 2023 🫰🪨
